Stunning his friends and family, local 9 year old Mikey Conway rolled his first spare. Conway, bowling for the first time without the bumpers, exceeded expectations early on by bowling three straight frames with no gutterballs. However, after two straight gutterballs, Conway zoned in. After rubbing his hands above that little wind thing on the ball rack, Conway picked up the bowling alleys lightest ball and rolled a spare, exceeding the low expectations of a young man his age. Conway then did a moonwalk backwards, only to spin around and shoot air guns at his breathless friends. The Skidmo’ Daily can report that despite Conway’s spare, he finished last to his father; 210 – 33.
