The Skidmo Scoop: Campus Events for the Week of November 6th

Gore Mountain

Buy a Gore Mountain Season Pass
Tuesday, November 7th, 2:30-5:00 p.m.

You’re not going to want to miss what’s going on at Case this Tuesday, Brody. Grab your boy Chad and your homegirl Cassidy, snag your board, and get ready to slam the powder at Gore Mountain because Outing Club is selling discounted season passes!

In just 4 trips of shredding the gnar and busting melon grabs on the halfpipe, the pass will have paid for itself. So, honestly, Brody, you’re losing money if you don’t take advantage of this opportunity.

Show Tune Karaoke Night

Show Tune Karaoke Night
Friday, November 10th, 9:00 p.m. – 12:00 a.m.

Come hang out with Cabaret Troupe at Spa and butcher Broadway classics with your friends! No, really, everyone loves to hear you belt out the lyrics to your favorite song from Wicked. Oh! And don’t forget to tell everyone about how you were a lead your junior year in your high school’s production of Les Misérables; that’s totally still relevant and matters.

Swing by for the music and fun, and when the reminiscing over high school drama club gets to be too much, stay for the food and beverage.

Love Yourself

Raices Annual Banquet
Saturday, November 11th, 5:30-9:00 p.m.

Raices hosts their Annual Banquet this week. This year’s theme for this creatively named event is self-love… So not only are the Raices lazy, but they’re also narcissists. Sounds like fun.

But for real, come to the Tang and celebrate with Raices and special guest, Prisca Dorcas, founder of the Latina Rebels!

Sound Healing Concert

Sound Healing Concert
Sunday, November 12th, 2:00-4:00 p.m.

The Office of Religious and Spiritual Life is putting together a Sound Healing Concert in the Wilson Chapel that’s sure to be fucking lit. Come and party at this safe, sacred space and enter into deep states of rage by bathing in the full sounds and overtones of various gongs. If, for some reason, you don’t want to go HAM and cheese, then totally come by to relax and get spiritual as this will be the perfect place to do so!

The concert works on a donation based admission, so pay what you can!

Stomp the Yard

Stompin’ Soles Fall Show
Sunday, November 12th, 3:00-4:00 p.m.

The Stompin’ Soles hosts their Fall Show in Filene this Sunday, and it promises to be a good time. If you’ve ever seen Stomp the Yard, then you know exactly what to expect because this event will be just like that. Just less drama and way more step. Also, way less shitty, since the Stompin’ Soles aren’t a poorly put together movie. In fact, they aren’t a movie at all.
